EVORA

EVORA Global is proud to announce that we are now officially recognized as an ENERGY STAR Approved Service and Product Provider (SPP) for commercial buildings in North America.

This milestone affirms EVORA’s ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality sustainability solutions and demonstrates that our expertise and services meet the rigorous standards set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). As an Approved SPP, we are authorized to support clients in benchmarking energy performance using ENERGY STAR tools, including Portfolio Manager, across a wide range of commercial real estate assets.

What This Means for Our Clients

Expert Benchmarking Support – EVORA can help US-based clients – or global clients with US assets – benchmark building energy use through ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager, the industry-standard platform used by thousands of organizations to measure and track energy and water consumption to meet city and state-level regulations.

Added Credibility – becoming ENERGY STAR approved signals that EVORA’s work aligns with the EPA’s criteria for accuracy and integrity. This enhances trust in our services and helps clients meet compliance, reporting, and sustainability goals.

Key ENERGY STAR Benchmarking Deadlines for 2025

If you’re looking to benchmark or improve the performance of your buildings under ENERGY STAR, it’s important to be aware of key submission dates:

Annual Benchmarking Compliance Deadlines – many US cities and states require annual benchmarking reports submitted via ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager. Deadlines vary by jurisdiction, but common ones include:

  • New York City (LL84): May 1
  • San Francisco: May 1
  • Washington, D.C.: May 1
  • Boston: May 15
  • Los Angeles: June 1
  • Chicago: June 1

ENERGY STAR Certification Applications – buildings aiming for ENERGY STAR certification for the 2025 cycle must typically apply by December 31, 2025 (though earlier submission is advised to allow time for EPA review and final approval).

“We’re excited to officially be recognized as an ENERGY STAR provider – reinforcing our commitment to driving sustainability and meaningful impact across the built environment. We look forward to expanding upon our existing efforts across the US to support clients in optimizing their portfolios, reducing energy consumption, and achieving their sustainability goals while ensuring alignment with industry best practices”. – Audrey Buckman (Account Director)

EVORA is well-positioned to help building owners, managers, and sustainability professionals navigate these requirements and maximize the value of ENERGY STAR participation.
