Meike joined EVORA in 2020 and brought with her nearly 20 years of consultancy experience in the built environment. Following her engagements in the USA, Sweden and the United Kingdom and more recently her role as the Head of Office for WSP in Hamburg, Germany. She now heads up our business in Germany and the wider DACH region.
Having worked as a civil engineer early on in her career, Meike developed a strong passion for integrating sustainability principles in buildings’ design, construction and operation. Thanks to her project experience and involvement in thought leadership she is now an expert in real estate lifecycle performance analysis and strategy, with an emphasis on climate change adaptation of buildings as well as healthy and sustainable materials selection and procurement.
Meike’s project experience covers both domestic and non-domestic developments in Germany and abroad, and ranges from new construction to refurbishment.
Meike is an experienced BREEAM AP, LEED AP, WELL AP, DGNB Consultant and Certified Passivhaus Designer.
What are your main responsibilities?
My key responsibilities are the management and development of EVORA in the DACH regions.
What’s the best part of your job?
With EVORA, I am able to continue building on my international expertise and passion, working with our diverse expert groups on making the built environment fit for today and the future.
Where is your dream holiday destination?
Every year I spend my summer holiday in the beautiful south-west of Sweden but one winter I want to travel to the very north to get to experience the Aurora Borealis.
