Val joined EVORA in April 2018. She has over 10 years’ experience in management accounts and has worked in many different industries.
What are your main responsibilities?
I am responsible for the smooth running of the accounts function. For the production of timely management accounts from the ground up.
What’s the best part of your job?
Being the only person in the accounts department means you experience a lot of variety and you can control every aspect knowing the accounts inside out.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was young I wanted to be in the forces as I was very active and sporty, loving the outdoors. As I grew older I knew I had to work with numbers as I found I had a gravitational pull to problems and working them out.
