As experienced sustainability professionals, we recognise the importance of making a policy meaningful and appropriate for the organisations we work with. We generally adopt the structure of an Environmental Management System. This is an internationally recognised best-practice framework which we can develop to meet the ISO 14001 standard.
We utilise materiality assessment, peer analysis and stakeholder engagement, as appropriate, to ensure the sustainability and organisational context is fully understood.
Importantly, we tailor our approach to ensure it’s relevant for each client and aligned with their business strategy and objectives – at an organisation, portfolio or individual building level.
We’ve supported many organisations in developing sustainability policies and programmes which have enabled them to achieve year-on-year performance improvement – including , Schroder Real Estate, Deutsche Asset Management, Hines and Rockspring .
“Liverpool ONE has a number of KPI’s listed within the current Business Plan. One of our strategic goals is to maintain ISO14001 certification for our Environmental Management System. We have once again managed to achieve this objective through our long term collaboration with EVORA. EVORA has provided expert knowledge, advice and support on a variety of topics including ISO14001, improvement initiatives, monitoring performance and legal compliance on an on-going basis in order to achieve our aims.”
“We were first introduced to EVORA in March 2011 via a client as we were planning to launch ISO14001 certification across the clients portfolio in London and due to the mammoth task before us we needed additional support and guidance through this difficult process. Since 2011 EVORA has become our one stop shop for ISO certification support and the many other sustainability services that they can offer and deliver with a platinum service.”
