We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to fill the role of Sustainability Consultant to support our growing professional sustainability consultancy team. About EVORA

EVORA is an independent, pan-European sustainability consultancy specialising in the commercial real estate sector. We also have proprietary sustainability management software, SIERA, as well as a technical engineering division, EVORA EDGE Our clients include real estate investment organisations, such as Schroder Real Estate, Aberdeen Standard and Deutsche Bank.

Core Responsibilities and Skills Required

Core Responsibilities

The core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Support implementation of sustainability/ESG strategy and environmental management systems
  • Support engagement with clients and other external parties (e.g. heads of sustainability, asset managers, property and facilities management teams)
  • Manage large sustainability data collection programmes coordinating multiple parties
  • Manage simple client engagements
  • Monitoring and analysis of sustainability data
  • Support coordination of building-level sustainability improvement programmes
  • Support regulatory and voluntary sustainability disclosure / reporting (e.g. GRESB, INREV, EPRA, UNPRI, TCFD)
  • Support industry engagement (e.g. attending conferences etc).
  • Support team management, including Junior Consultants

Essential Skills

The right candidate must have the following essential skills:

  • A passion for furthering the sustainability agenda
  • Degree or Masters in related subject
  • Understanding of UK environmental legislation
  • Highly articulate and numerate
  • Strong people skills
  • Advanced IT skills

Desirable Skills & Requirements

The right candidate may have the following desired skills:

  • Membership of an appropriate and recognised professional body (e.g. IEMA Practitioner Membership)
  • Environmental and Energy Audit Experience for commercial buildings
  • Second language
  • BREEAM in Use Assessor, Fitwel, or WELL Accredited Practitioner
