About Role

As Principal Software Engineer you’ll be working with squad leads to ensure squads are aligned in how they’re developing, fostering a culture of trust and collaboration, in a test driven development environment which values regular delivery of value through an efficient CI/CD pipeline. You’ll work with a Solutions Architect to help drive and deliver a Cloud-first, SaaS-based strategy, and be a technical resource to product development teams to aid in translating product ideas into technically grounded and realistic epics.

We’re looking for an emotionally intelligent mentor to help support multiple squads of developers and help drive code quality, security & efficiency best practices.

The profile:

• A technical and people leader, with a passion for results; inspirational / visionary leadership style with a hands-on approach and genuine empathy for others on the team
• Proficient in managing teams by generating trust, care, where failures are accepted and learned from, and a sense of achievement is shared
• Background in .NET and the MS technology stack Application development, technical architecture, or application support experience in an agile / continuous delivery environment.
• Strong understanding of coding best practice, such as a good understanding and application of SOLID principals, relevant design patterns and service patterns
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Excellence with version control systems and application lifecycle management (Git / GitHub)
• At least 2 years of AWS experience.
