We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to fill the role of Associate Director to support our growing professional sustainability consultancy team and development of our German business. This position offers a very exciting opportunity to work with high-profile blue-chip companies developing and delivering a broad spectrum of sustainability services, as well as providing possible secondment opportunities with our clients. EVORA is an independent, pan-European sustainability consultancy specialising in the commercial real estate sector. We also have our proprietary sustainability management software, SIERA, as well as a technical engineering division, EVORA EDGE. Our clients include Schroder Real Estate, Standard Life and Deutsche Bank.

Core Responsibilities and Skills Required

Core Responsibilities

The core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Management of the German business unit
  • Active involvement in business development – as part of a team
  • Client account and programme management
  • Depth of technical knowledge of sustainability issues and application to real estate
  • Experience of ESG strategy development and corporate level (real estate experience, a bonus)
  • Lead on the management of large European environmental data management programmes
  • Strategic and tactical input to the development of new products and services

Essential Skills & Requirements

The right candidate must have the following essential skills:

  • Degree or Masters in related subject & membership of an appropriate and recognised professional body
  • Detailed understanding of environmental legislation
  • Experience of managing pan-European clients desirable but not essential
  • Fluency in German
  • French desirable but not essential
  • Highly articulate and numerate
  • Strong people management skills
  • Clear understanding of managing programmes and projects to a budget and target margin
  • Advanced IT skills
