Providing data driven optimisation to facilitate energy savings, improve tenant health and wellbeing and deliver measurable benefits
Energy Efficiency
Optimise your buildings through a building ‘energy check-up’ to diagnose inefficiencies and recommend improvements to your assets.
Our practical approach will provide you with an energy optimisation plan detailing packages of short, medium, and long-term energy saving initiatives to reduce energy consumption, at asset level or across your portfolio. We can tailor our approach to match the ambitions of our clients.
We also leverage technology to uncover further insights. Using our SIERA Monitoring & Targeting (M&T) module, we can identify and reduce energy wastage on an ongoing and near real-time basis, while tracking the progress of your fully tailored energy optimisation plan.
Managing energy consumption through building optimisation minimises climate risks and drives cost savings which can lead to enhanced asset value.
Indoor Air Quality
High indoor air quality provides many benefits to worker health and wellbeing: it reduces sickness, decreases absenteeism, and helps raise productivity.
Our team of specialists can perform an indoor air quality survey to identify potential issues that may be affecting worker health and wellbeing. For example, we can measure concentrations of indoor pollutants (CO2, particulate matter, volatile organic compounds) and measure fresh air volumes to ensure indoor air quality is optimised at your asset.
From the survey, we may recommend maintenance upgrades to rebalance or recalibrate air delivery systems – all with the goal of improving tenant comfort, productivity, and health and wellbeing.
Continuous Monitoring
We are firm believers that ‘you can’t improve what you don’t measure’ – and energy consumption is no different.
Through continuous monitoring, we capture data from utility meters, BMS points, and room-level equipment and transmit it to our digital platform for on-going analysis of trends to improve your asset’s energy performance.
Armed with data, we can recommend specific interventions to your building’s operation to drive energy savings and improve tenant comfort.
The benefits of continuous monitoring are numerous, including tracking towards ambitious energy targets, reducing tenant comfort related complaints, aligning building services with actual use requirements, increasing the lifetime of capital equipment, and driving greater value into the building.
BREEAM In-Use
BREEAM In-Use is an assessment method used to assess and improve operational sustainability performance of assets and the way they are managed, delivering value for property investors, owners, managers and occupiers.
Our value-focused approach has been developed to ensure our clients and key stakeholders understand the process, its benefits and how it fits within existing sustainability strategies.
We have an expert team of BREEAM In-Use qualified assessors, who can support clients across Europe and varying asset classes. We have successfully supported clients over a number of years to plan, prepare and complete assessments, and intimately understand the scheme, its complexities and challenges.
We are not your typical BREEAM In-Use assessors because we are not simply assessors. Our in-depth knowledge of the real estate industry and EVORA’s framework approach combining consultancy, sustainability management software and technical engineering solutions ensure you are not just left with a badge on the wall. Focusing on extracting maximum value from the assessment, EVORA ensures each certificate is issued with an Improvement Pathway report to enhance asset performance and provide clients with a clear roadmap to achieving higher ratings.
