Robin joined the team in September 2019. Robin brings to EVORA over 25 years of experience in Consulting and Software Services businesses and over the last 10 years has specialised in developing organisations for sustainable growth across a range of different sectors. Robin’s most recent experience has been at CliniSys Solutions, as UK CEO and COO, cementing them as the UK’s #1 provider of pathology testing software to the NHS and private healthcare market.
Prior to this Robin spent time in senior operational roles at leading software and services organisations including Equiniti, Atos Origin KPMG and Schlumberger, including a stint running the Asia-Pacific Operations based in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur for Schlumberger’s Regional Operations Centre of Excellence for Telecoms and Utilities.
What are your main responsibilities?
Robin’s key responsibilities are to help develop Evora’s operational rigour, efficiency, quality systems and scale while ensuring Evora retains the culture and customer focus it has built since starting up in 2011. This involves putting in operational processes and procedures to help drive quality, develop operational and investment strategies and continue to build on our first class execution capabilities across all our service lines.
What’s the best part of your job?
Finding ways to continue to delight our clients through creating a great place to work. If all our teams are motivated to excel, they will deliver a great customer experience. I have a keen interest in how simple processes can help make the daily rituals and procedures easier to execute and how technology can transform how we deliver our services and ease the workload upon our teams and ultimately our customers.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
My primary aspiration was to be a Chess Grandmaster with booker prize winning novelist a close second. I failed miserably on both counts, but I live in hope that the one great novel will be produced someday and I still keep my hand in over the 64 squares of the chessboard.
