What are your main responsibilities?

Prior to joining EVORA, I was seconded to the BRE to help develop the new CEEQUAL standard for infrastructure where I was the lead author for the Resources section covering carbon, energy, water, materials and climate resilience. My initial area of responsibility will be to establish how carbon and climate resilience requirements apply to corporate and infrastructure reporting.

What’s the best part of your job?

I’ve been involved with environmental consulting for many years and witnessed it evolve into a respected sustainability advisory service. The work requires individuals to be specialist generalists willing to challenge the status quo and think outside the box to find practical and better ways to do business. It is the variety of challenges and need to work across professional boundaries that inspires me.

What is your dream holiday destination?

My dream holiday destination is Cornwall, I go there every year with my wife, children and the dog to swim, surf and BBQ on the beach, simple pleasures. The UK has some fantastic places to visit and is hard to beat, so holidays are active ‘staycations’ for me. Not to mention it’s good to keep the carbon footprint down and support our local businesses.
