Mandatory Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Reporting

Although the GHG protocol – which sets out the approach for reporting greenhouse gases – is not new, the mandatory requirement is. And 2014 was the first year that many UK listed companies had to identify, collate and report relevant GHG emissions.

A number of key elements require consideration, from establishing your organisational boundaries and determining what information needs to be collected to producing a reporting pack consistent with DEFRA 2013 guidelines.

The task can be onerous, especially for organisations with overseas operations or complex structures. So our specialists can advise companies on the best approach, as well as support them in the collation of required data and subsequent reporting.

“I have worked with EVORA for almost five years now, having initially appointed them following a review of providers. I firmly believe that EVORA are leaders in their field and they have opened my eyes to the value that a proactive approach to sustainability can bring.”
