The delivered performance of heat networks across the UK varies considerably. Some schemes deliver heat with life cycle costs in the region of 4 to 5 pence per kWh, while others at over 15 pence per kWh.
EVORA offers a service to ensure that heat networks are designed, built and operated to the standards set out in the Heat Networks Code of Practice for the UK.
Both directors at EVORA EDGE are accredited and experienced CIBSE Heat Networks Consultants trained in the implementation of the Heat Networks: Code of Practice for the UK.
This unique document has been produced as a joint project between CIBSE and the Association for Decentralised Energy (ADE) and was launched on the 8th July 2015. This Code has been produced to assist by raising standards across the whole supply chain.
The setting of minimum and best practice heat networks regulations should provide greater confidence for specifiers and developers. This Code can also be used to specify minimum requirements for projects during tendering and contracting processes.
