George Patrick

Sustainability Consultant

Before joining EVORA in April 2019, George spent over 2 years working for Salix Finance, a not-for-profit organisation that is funded by central government with the aim of reducing public sector CO2 emissions. George worked closely with large public sector organisations to become more energy efficient across their estates and buildings.

What are your main responsibilities?

I provide consultancy support across a range of different sustainability areas, such as energy and sustainability audits, monitoring and targeting and benchmark reporting. I am also responsible for collating and analysing large environmental datasets and preparing written reports.

What’s the best part of your job?

It is very rewarding to work with a passionate team who have strong expertise in a range of areas to support our clients. Being able to work closely on a variety of tasks with a number of large organisations in order to inform and encourage a positive impact on sustainability and environmental improvements.

Where is your dream holiday destination?

Australia is currently high on my list of places to visit again after living there for a few months before I started at university. It’d be great to explore all the places I did not have the opportunity to do so last time!
