Chris joined EVORA in June 2021 and has 19 years’ experience in built environment related environmental and sustainability roles. His previous role was in the Building Performance Group at BRE working on the strategic and technical development of the BREEAM certification standards, where he was the technical lead for health and wellbeing and social impact related research and development activities.

What are your main responsibilities?

Leading the delivery of the green building certification business area, including BREEAM In-Use, and providing technical input and insight across EVORA’s other service lines.

What’s the best part of your job?

Working with smart and passionate colleagues and knowing that my work is helping to improve the performance of the built environment across the environmental, social and economic aspects of sustainability.

What book are you currently reading?

‘A Kim Jong-Il Production’ by Paul Fischer. A fascinating and sometimes terrifying insight into North Korean history, how the Kim family have maintained control of the country for over 60 years, and Kim Jong-Il’s paranoia and obsession with film and cinema.
