Alice has strong experience working in multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic sustainability strategies to improve both the design and performance of our assets, as well as the wider built environment.
Prior to joining EVORA, Alice worked at Waterman Group, a consultancy providing sustainable solutions to meet the planning, engineering and project delivery needs of the property, infrastructure, environment and energy markets, and prior to that at an engineering consultancy specialising in building services.
What are your main responsibilities?
I am responsible for leading on key UK and European client accounts to deliver bespoke strategies that enhance sustainability performance of portfolios in its entirety. This includes advisory services such as ESG strategy and implementation, data collection, validation and monitoring, stakeholder engagement, health and wellbeing strategies at both a corporate and building level, environmental management systems, TCFD and sustainability reporting.
What’s the best part of your job?
The best part about my job is upskilling others around the value of sustainability and them truly believing in it, as only together we can make the biggest difference.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a physiotherapist which I always thought was quite tame in respect of blood and gore for the medical profession. After a week’s work experience during my sixth form years, little did I know that it actually involved A LOT of blood and gore, and when I ended up fainting in the middle of the hospital ward I soon realised it definitely was not the career for me!
