Technical Services Manager

Alan joined Evora in May 2019 and has over 10 years experience in building services.  Alan has worked as an energy manager, facilities manager and account manager for FM service providers and overseen the delivery of planned, reactive and capex projects over a diverse range of national portfolios.

What are your main responsibilities?

Although new to the business I will increasingly be involved with delivering a variety of works including:

  • M&E contractor audit.
  • Maintenance Contract mobilisation.
  • Remedial works quote approval and technical advice.
  • Project Specifications.
  • Project Management and CDM co-ordination.
  • Tender evaluation

What’s the best part of your job?

The variety of work and opportunity to work with a variety of stakeholders all working towards the same goal.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

Growing up I liked the idea of joining the military however once I finished my degree and started work in building services I realised that this was a career I wanted to pursue.
